Paragliding
A privilege of paragliders and hang gliders is the view of the breathtaking panoramas. These panoramic views are particularly unique in the mountains – you can fly across whole valleys and basins.
In the holiday region of Gitschberg Jochtal you can find take-off points in nearly all townships located at higher altitudes. The best known are on the Gitschberg and the Rodenecker Alm, the mountain pasture. So that you can reach the take-off heights without problems, you can use a cabin rail in Meransen and Vals which takes you up to 2000m.
